Cruz Del Sur Music is proud to announce a special reissue of Greek masters Sacral Rage’s modern classic “Illusions in Infinite Void”. 10 years have passed since this album stormed the world and fans of unique, progressive and technically advanced heavy / speed metal should strap in if they are yet to learn of Sacral Rage. Preceded by a demo and an EP with a second album following, there is plenty to dig into with this band, but back to the debut - which is our focus. The band took their time finding a sound they could fully call their own and this album is the culmination of these efforts.

If names like King Diamond, Watchtower, Annihilator, Sanctuary, Helstar, get you excited, then read on for Sacral Rage have all of the heavy metal grandiosity that these names evoke. With extremely versatile musicianship taking you from the ancient worlds in futuristic cosmic realms, this is a boundless listen both sonically and thematically that never feels restricted. Taking one face-melting vocalist, shredding bassist, unique and flavourful guitarist and a powerhouse of a drummer; Sacral Rage have a flawless lineup to deliver truly dizzying and spellbinding heavy metal. The album was recorded by Nick Papakostas at Entasis studios in December 2014 with mixing and mastering handled by Charis Zourelidis at Feedback studios, Athens, Greece in January 2015. Mattias Frisk is responsible for the majestic cover art.

The initial reception from both press and fans worldwide was overwhelmingly positive, with many praising Sacral Rage as a truly unique force in metal, unlike anything else at the time. The band further amplified their impact through intense live performances across Europe, earning a growing fanbase thanks to their electrifying stage presence and technical prowess. This band can take you from glistening brightness to rituals in the darkest catacombs which instills equal measures of fear and curiosity. No matter what your starting point with Sacral Rage is, you will be pulled into an expansive and cerebral experience that feels far more than just another average heavy metal band. Each member contributes a lot of technique and personality that is rare to see in such abundance on a new album. There is never a second that is predictable and the musicians never falter, right until the end you will be utterly mesmerised by this opus of total metallic triumph.
