3x12" enthält 10x monochrome Photoprints von den Sessions. Die Aufnahmen von drei Sessions aus dem Jahr 2019 im Clouds Hill Studio als 3er-Vinyl-Box. Teil I bietet acht, Teil II und Teil III je sechs komplett neu arrangierte Stücke, produziert von Johann Scheerer, eingespielt von Omar und diversen Gastmusikern. Es gelingt nur wenigen Songwritern und Arrangeuren, mit ihrem Spiel und ihren Kompositionen mehrere Generationen zu prägen. Omar Rodríguez-López ist einer dieser Ausnahmemusiker. Es reicht, seinen Namen zu nennen, und schon bekommen Freunde harter oder virtuoser oder kosmischer Musik ein Leuchten in den Augen. Wer seine Musik hört, spürt: Da gibt sich jemand seiner Kunst komplett hin ? und da besitzt jemand unglaublich viel Wissen über das, was Musik zu leisten in der Lage ist. Omar Rodríguez-López betrachtet das Hamburger Clouds Hill-Studio schon lange als zweite kreative Heimat. Er und Produzent Johann Scheerer kennen sich seit 15 Jahren, die beiden verbindet eine enge Freundschaft und künstlerische Beziehung. - The artwork is a photograph of the original tape used for the session. It looks very high end because analog photography with the right lighting can look very high end. People these days tend to think that high end photography looks grainy compared to digital non-high end photos. It doesn´t! Even the unwinding tape is real! It took two days to photograph it like this. The cardboard slipcase features three cut outs (in the photo of the tape reel) like those tape reels have. So if you slip the vinyl in, the grooves create the illusion of wound tape
