Question about item

For 26 years, more than half my life, I’ve been following the Columbian Neckties on their journey. Henrik still had long hair, Simon wrote for Moshable News, Slambert drummed like a madman and started his booking agency for female garage punk bands, and Jeppe was Jeppe. Incidentally, Torben was already on board as sound engineer back then. I feel like part of their band and have experienced more with them than with any other band.

I cried when they briefly broke up and breathed a sigh of relief when they got the itch to play together again. We’ve grown old together, and this is one of the best things that has ever happened to me.

Now, after Brazil, another big adventure awaits: the tour through Japan. Perhaps some of you can understand what this means to me.

Since I’ve already raved enough about the sound of these four guys from Aalborg in the past, I’d like to get straight to the release.

„We Still Kill The Old Way“ is a compilation of their most important songs. And Sounds of Subterrania wouldn’t be Sounds of Subterrania if I hadn’t come up with something special for it. You can transform the album cover into a mini stage, bringing a touch of garage punk into your living room or record room. The entire artwork is screen-printed, each sheet individually die-cut and glued by hand. To give you an idea of ??the scale of the work involved, each cover takes about 30 minutes to create. Special thanks go to Sandra Havik for the fantastic design, Jasper Sek / Backyard Graphics for the graphic design and sleeve layout, and generally for their support with the videos, input, and great ideas. And then, of course, Philipp Janta for the screen printing, and especially Jan from Kürsten Kartonagen. Without him, the whole idea would have failed. What Jan has achieved with that plotter is sensational, and without going into further detail, as that would get too technical, I truly take my hat off to him! It simply couldn’t be more perfect.
