An isolated pandemic recording session in a small cabin deep in the woods of Sweden has unleashed the glorious, guitar-drenched new full-length Paperking by post-hardcore / screamo / skramz outfit WLOTS (pronounced “vuh-lotsâ€). What could be aptly described as a best-of the past twenty years of post-hardcore against a backdrop of snarling pain, awareness and gut-wrenching emotion, Paperking offers a unique take on this genre's roots with a sound that harkens back to the early 2000’s while retaining a firm foothold in the WLOTS' dark and dreamy modern world. Delivering on the promise shown on their debut Sempre Piu with a fresh collection of 13 killer tracks crafted with sincerity, unflinching fury and stellar production, this incredible follow-up is a must-listen for anyone who welcomes genuine, legitimate, true emotion.
